How it works Video
The marketing team needed a strategy to promote Document Defense, a new product, and help customers understand its value and purpose. This project idea started out as an infographic that would be posted on the Rocket Lawyer Blog and shared through social media channels.
Process
I took the initiative to utilize the content from the blog and make a video. I worked with our Marketing team and writer to create the content and script. Once the script and concept was created, as the designer I created some quick thumbnails into a story board. Working with another designer, we created static illustrations together, the I recorded placeholder audio to work through the story board and animate the static illustrations in AfterEffects.

In addition to creating a full length video, I also adapted it for a 15 second condensed story that could be used as an advertisement on Facebook. Analytics showed that video content consistently performed better than static images.
